This guide to digital photography is here to help. I've taken tens of thousands of photographs with my old Olympus and Nikon 35mm SLR's and now with several different types of digital cameras beginning with one of the first ones on the market, the Casio QV10. I've still got it, but since then, I've been through my share of Sony Mavicas, Cannon SureShots, Nikon Coolpix digitals, and now Nikon SLR digitals.
Wow! Has Technology Changed Photography
 I've created dozens of multimedia slide presentations with hundreds of 35mm slides, Kodak slide projectors and a Sanyo Dissolve unit. I used cassette tapes, cheap microphones and a tape recorder.
And now I do it with digital photos, computers, digital audio programs and LCD projectors. I've added music and voiceover narration and interviews, added sound effects, and published them as self-running slide shows and multimedia presentations. The technology has enabled the amateur to create professional quality productions.
This guide to digital photography will provide you with the information and resources you need to get great digital photos. It will give me a place to share my experience and expertise and teach you to get great results from your digital camera, no matter which one you're using and what kind of project you want to create.
